AVAILABILITY

All canoes shown in the section “Artist’s work” are available for order (With the exception of the Samoan canoes with Mother of Pearl inlay work.) Lead time to deliver the model can vary from a few days to a few months depending on the size and complexity of the piece or project. The miniature models in The Boutique are in stock and readily available.

PRICING

Miniature models are $125 (plus S/H inside in the US). Please contact Francis for pricing info on any of the other pieces.

PAYMENT

A 50% down payment is requested when ordering, or when commissioning a work. Balance, plus S/H to be paid upon completion of work. Photos will be emailed when the piece is complete, and ready for shipping. Payment accepted using Visa, Master Card or Paypal.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

All models are shipped in custom made wooden crates, to ensure the safe arrival of the piece. All crates are fully insured, and sent via USPS, FedEx or other freight company, depending on the size of the piece. Crates are always shipped door to door. Shipping and handling charges are not inclusive and must be pre-paid.

DISPLAY TABLE & CASES

It is recommended to display your new model in a show case. Keeping your model dust-free will keep it looking as beautiful as the day you took it out of the crate. ÊCustom cases and display tables are not included in the modelÕs price, with the exception of the 12" Hokule'a Êwhich comes with a custom show case.

CUSTOM MODELS

Commissions are accepted for any type of Oceanic canoe, from any period, as well as contemporary catamaran and trimaran. Prices vary according to size, complexity, type of finish, and level of detail. A detailed set of information will be required to issue a "Pro-Forma" quote. Contact Francis for a free quote.

DAMAGE

Damages must be reported to the artist and shipper within 3 days of receipt of goods. Depending on the level of damage, the item will either need to be handed over to the shipper in accordance with his instructions, or sent back to the artist at the customerÕs expense within 7 days of receipt. When sending back, the item will need to be packed or crated in exactly the same manner as it was received. The customer should not try to repair any damaged item before sending it back to the artist.
